Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets rules for using UNIMART AFRICA ("UNIMART", "we", "our", or "us"). It applies to all users—students, sellers, service providers, opportunity posters, ambassadors, and visitors.
This AUP forms part of our Terms of Service. For day-to-day trust and moderation standards (fake products, scams, harassment, spam, and more), see our Community Guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, feature limits, suspension, or termination, and may be reported to authorities where required.
2. General Expectations
You agree to use UNIMART in good faith for lawful campus commerce, opportunity discovery, learning, and entrepreneurship. You must:
- Provide accurate information in profiles, listings, and applications
- Respect other users, campuses, and partners
- Comply with applicable laws and university policies that apply to you
- Keep your account secure and not share login credentials
3. Prohibited Content
You may not post, upload, list, or transmit content that:
- Is illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Promotes hate, harassment, threats, or violence
- Contains pornography or sexual exploitation material
- Exploits minors in any way
- Includes malware, phishing, or social-engineering attacks
- Misrepresents affiliation with UNIMART, a university, or another brand
- Is spam, irrelevant mass promotion, or misleading SEO/keyword stuffing
4. Prohibited Commerce and Listings
Unless expressly permitted by law and by UNIMART in writing, you may not list or facilitate:
- Stolen goods or counterfeit products
- Illegal drugs, unauthorized pharmaceuticals, or controlled substances
- Weapons, explosives, or dangerous materials restricted by law
- Academic cheating services (ghostwriting exams, unauthorized answer keys, etc.)
- Pyramid schemes, fake investment products, or clear financial scams
- Services that violate university academic integrity rules
5. Opportunities and Applications
- Opportunity posters must describe roles, eligibility, and requirements honestly.
- Applicants must not submit fabricated credentials or plagiarized materials.
- Do not use opportunity channels to harvest personal data for unrelated marketing.
6. Fraud, Abuse, and Platform Integrity
You may not:
- Create fake accounts, reviews, ratings, or engagement
- Manipulate rankings, boosts, or recommendation systems dishonestly
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without our prior written permission
- Interfere with Platform security, availability, or performance
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract data at scale without permission
- Circumvent suspensions, rate limits, or geographic/campus access controls
7. AI Feature Abuse
When using Junior, My Agent, or other AI features, you may not:
- Attempt to jailbreak, bypass safety filters, or extract hidden system instructions
- Generate content that violates this AUP for posting elsewhere on UNIMART
- Use AI to automate harassment, spam, or mass deceptive outreach
- Submit others' personal data into prompts without a lawful basis and their awareness where required

8. Communications
Do not use UNIMART messaging, notifications, WhatsApp shares, or contact tools to spam, threaten, or solicit users off-platform in a deceptive way. Unsolicited bulk commercial messages are prohibited.
9. Reporting and Enforcement
Report suspected violations to info@unimartafrica.com. We may investigate and take action we consider appropriate, including removing content, limiting features, suspending accounts, or cooperating with law enforcement.
We are not obligated to monitor all activity but reserve the right to review content and logs as needed to operate and secure the Platform, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update this AUP as the Platform evolves. Continued use after the effective date of an updated AUP constitutes acceptance.
